I make this balm during the cold weather for myself and my family. It makes 4 oz (113 g).

Ingredients (in grams and ounces):

Procedimiento:

  1. Melt the solids: Using a double boiler, melt the coconut oil, cocoa butter, and beeswax until completely liquid.
  2. Add liquid oils: Remove from heat and add the calendula-infused almond oil and olive oil. Stir gently.
  3. Add the extras: add approximately 2-3 drops of vitamin E.
  4. Package and cool: Pour the mixture into a clean jar and let it solidify at room temperature. The final texture should be smooth and easy to spread.

Optional Notes

  • For a softer balm, reduce the beeswax to 14–15 g (in the video, I used 16g).

Coconut oil: 36 g (1.27 oz)

Olive oil: 10 g (0.35 oz)

Cocoa butter: 2 g (0.07 oz)

Beeswax: 16 g (0.56 oz)

Crushed calendula flowers (optional): 0.56 g (0.02 oz)

Vitamin E: ~2-3 drops

Instructions:

Melt the solids: Using a double boiler, melt the coconut oil, cocoa butter, and beeswax until completely liquid.

Add liquid oils: Remove from heat and add the calendula-infused almond oil and olive oil. Stir gently.

Add the extras: Incorporate the crushed calendula flowers and approximately 11 drops of vitamin E.

Package and cool: Pour the mixture into a clean jar and let it solidify at room temperature. The final texture should be smooth and easy to spread.
